What is Boxercise?

A Circuit style class including boxing style stations and techniques. Learn over 8 different punches and movement using focus pads. The workout uses the whole body and the time flys as you work on body movement, agility and momentum. If you stick with the Boxercise workout you'll get cut, you'll get definition but you won't gain bulk.

Whats a Boxercise class like?

In the classes that i teach we will take part in some gentle exercises to warm up e.g. light jogging, star jumps etc before stretching. Then with everyone facing a mirror we will take part in some shadow boxing which involves me shouting out different punches and combinations for you to practice, this gives you the chance to work on your technique and helps me correct any mistakes i can see while im walking around watching you practice while you build up a sweat!. Then a circuit will be set up around the studio which involves exercises for all the major muscle groups of your body, you will complete the circuit in pairs which will also involve some pad work. The last part of the class will concentrate fully on pad work using all the punches and combinations you have learnt so far, this is the most fun and stress busting part of the class which will also include some drills and games.

Can anyone come to a Boxercise class?

Yes Boxercise is a class for all levels and abilities and you do not need any previous experience to take part, it is our job as Boxercise Instructors and Personal Trainers to start you off at a level suitable to your experience and fitness levels and progress you from there.

Why not come along and take part?

My classes are held at The Northern on Palatine Rd West Didsbury every Tuesday at 7:15 - 8:15pm at just £4.50 per class or free to members of The Northern.

Prefer personal one to one Boxercise sessions?

Personal one to one Boxercise sessions give you the benefit of having the Instructors full attention on you instead of a whole class which means you will learn much faster and more effectively.
